Day 1 - Heading for Scotland, Isle of Skye here we come !
Flight to Glasgow. Transfer to Skye and arrival in a comfortable house for the next six nights. We’ll drive along a beautiful road through the highlands and “Eilean Donan Castle” from the famous Highlander film.
Day 2 - Historical Skye
We’ll begin our discovery of the Isle of Skye with a historic hike to explore the coast and two villages that were abandoned after the “Highland Raze”. You will appreciate the tranquility of this place as well as the breathtaking view of the pink hills and the Black Cuillins.
Day 3 - The mythical Cuillins...
Now, we’ll tackle the famous Cuillins mountain range located at the foot of our accommodation. We’ll make a magnificent crossing at the foot of the mountains from Glen brittle to Glen Sligachan. You’ll have the opportunity to appreciate the famous “Cuillins gabbro”, a very abrasive rock that is frequently found under the oceans but rarely at the surface.
Day 4 - Quiraing and the land of the Hobbits
The Quiraing site in the north of the Trotternish peninsula will carry us away to a fairy-tale world in the land of the elves. These spectacular basalt formations sculpted by erosion over millions of years will enchant you. An astonishing contrast between the bright green and black of the rocks.
Day 5 - The northern tip of the island: Rubha Hunish and Fairy Glen
It is the ideal place to observe seabirds and marine fauna. Indeed, it is the best place to see marine mammals (dolphins and whales), as well as basking sharks (2nd largest fish in the world). In addition to the natural spectacle, we will have a superb view of the Outer Hebrides and pass by the ruined castle of Duntulm. On the way back, we will stop at Fairy Glen to explore this unique and very strange place.
Day 6 - Neist Point Lighthouse and Oronsay Island
Today, we’ll set out to discover the north-western part of the island and the most spectacular lighthouse in Scotland. Built by the Stevenson family, the lighthouse is in an idyllic spot on the west coast of Skye. We will also discover the peaceful Isle of Oronsay, which is accessible at low tide and where a fabulous marine scenery can be enjoyed.
Day 7 - Mallaig's beaches and urban discoveries in Glasgow
Return journey to Glasgow. After a short ferry crossing, we’ll stop at the beautiful white sandy beaches. A last opportunity to swim in the Atlantic Sea. Overnight stay in a hotel in the city centre. Late afternoon and dinner according to your own arrangements. The opportunity to enjoy a last whisky in the best pubs in the world.
Day 8 - Bye Bye Scotland !
After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Return flight.

“Perfect destination! The isle of Skye has it all! Beaches, cliffs, lochs, rivers and spectacular alpine like mountains! Our guide Amy knows the place so well and she played a big role. It helps to have a guide here as the trails are not marked and the weather can be unpredictable.”
