Welcome to Scotland! On arrival in Glasgow/Edinburgh, transfer to the station and board a West Highland Line train. The scenery unfolds: wooded hills and the first views of Loch Lomond.

Settle into the small village of Tarbet, where you will spend 2 nights. Depending on the time of day, you can climb to the top of Cruach Tarbet for a panoramic view of the Arrochar Alps and Loch Lomond.

Early in the morning, you cross Loch Lomond by ferry to Rowardennan. From here you join the West Highland Way for an exceptional lochside walk to Inversnaid. The trail winds through woodland, hidden waterfalls and small escarpments, in a fairytale atmosphere. Return to your accommodation by ferry on Loch Lomond.

Take the train to Tyndrum, a small, peaceful village nestled between mountains and pastures. You then set off on foot along the West Highland Way towards Bridge of Orchy. This stretch offers you a succession of iconic landscapes: rivers, heather moors, ancient stones and uninterrupted views of the surrounding Munros. Return to Tyndrum by bus, where you will spend the next 2 nights.

Set course for one of the most unusual places in Scotland: Corrour, the only railway station in the UK without an access road. Lost among the peat bogs and hills of Rannoch Moor, it’s a walker’s paradise. Hike around Loch Ossian or to the surrounding peaks, as you wish. Don’t forget to take a break at the station restaurant, renowned for its delicious cuisine. Return to Tyndrum by train.

Today is a change of scenery. You head for the west coast to Oban, nicknamed the “Gateway to the Hebrides”, where you will check into your accommodation for the next 2 nights. This charming port town invites you to take a stroll along the harbour, visit the local distillery, climb McCaig’s Tower for a breathtaking view of the surrounding islands, or take a stroll up Pulpit Hill.

You’ll take a taxi from Oban to the ferry to the peaceful island of Kerrera. Here, there are no cars, just footpaths, sheep, mysterious ruins and forgotten coves. Hike along the southern part of the island to Gylen Castle, perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea. Return to Oban at the end of the day, filled with memories.

Last journey on the West Highland Line, this time to Glasgow. Check into your hotel and explore the city: museums, Victorian architecture, lively lanes or relax in the parks.
