Flight to Inverness. Once you arrive at the airport, you will collect your rental car and set off on an adventure on the road to Ullapool, one of the most attractive places in the Highlands!

You start this beautiful morning with a charming ferry crossing (2h30). You will have the opportunity to observe the landscapes from the sea and to contemplate the numerous “Summer islands” off Ullapool. It is also an opportunity to observe the marine fauna and birds. You have the possibility to have a meal on the boat. On your arrival, we suggest a walk near the north coast of Stornoway to admire the magnificent cliffs and a beautiful beach. You will have the opportunity to stroll through the streets of the capital of the Outer Hebrides and visit the gardens of Lewis Castle and its museum (free entrance). Settling in for two nights at Stornoway.

Today, you are leaving to explore the northern part of the Isle of Lewis! You start with the most beautiful circle of raised stones in Scotland, more than 5000 years old: Callanish. Standing on a wild headland overlooking Loch,Roag, the 13 megaliths and 40 smaller stones offer a sublime spectacle. Then you take the road to explore the most northern part of the island on foot: Butt of Lewis. This is an opportunity to visit the Gearrannan Blackhouse Village. This ancient village has been restored as a museum to show you how people lived in the past. The opportunity to see the weaving of the famous Harris tweed.

Today we’re on our way to one of the most beautiful beaches in the country: Traigh Uig. This walk crosses the beach and an iconic footbridge before visiting the historic Baile na Cille Cemetery. Then visit Great Bernara Island for a lovely tour of the island and the discovery of an Iron Age site. The final bouquet will be the spectacular Boltadh Beach! Today we propose you a loop of the east coast of the island passing by pretty hamlets. You will appreciate the peaceful side of life on this island at the end of the world. It’s time to take your swimsuit for a swim in the waters of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world: Luskentyre. This white sand beach offers at low tide an extraordinary turquoise water, worthy of a Caribbean beach! You can visit the eagle observatory (1h30 walk). We propose you a walk in the valley to reach the observatory. The Harris Mountains are home to 20 couples of Golden Eagles, one of the most densely populated areas in Scotland. Once you arrive at the Eagle Observatory, you can scan the sky for these magnificent birds rising above the ridges on either side of the valley.

As you descend towards the South of the island, you will pass by some beautiful beaches before reaching the small peaks of the South of the island which offer superb views of the beaches, mountains and the rest of the Outer Hebrides, Bernaray and North Uist. The island of Berneray is linked to North Uist by an elevated causeway. This island offers the opportunity to see otters or seals on some of the wildest beaches in Britain. You will also discover North Uist, a real paradise for bird lovers with its large population of waders in particular. We advise you to visit the Harris distillery, originally designed for whisky but which became famous thanks to its gin!

Departure from Tarbert on the island of Harris in the morning and arrival at Uig, on the northern tip of the island of Skye. Stretching north of Portree, the Trotternish Peninsula is a land of foggy cliffs and magical atmosphere. You are surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery on the island. The Quiraings loop will make you discover the most emblematic landscapes of Skye, made of needles and landslides. The black basalt rock and the contrast between the green grass are exceptional. You are in the country of Hobbits! This spectacle has been sculpted by erosion over time, to the delight of hikers. You can make a beautiful hike to the northernmost tip of the Isle of Skye, which offers an excellent opportunity to observe the marine fauna. Indeed, it is common to see dolphins, whale minks, basking sharks and many sea birds! Installation for 2 nights on the island of Skye.

Set off today to discover the Spoons! The Cuillins Hills are the most spectacular mountain range in Britain and the birthplace of Scottish mountaineering. It was here that the country’s first guide John McKenzie made his debut. The blackness of the Spoilins is due to the gabbro, a very abrasive, even wet rock that is often found under the oceans, but is rare on the surface of the Earth. Nearby, you will also discover the Red Hills made of pink granite. A unique scenery!

Departure from Skye by the famous bridge, then stop at the Highlander “Eilean Doanan Castle” where you take the skin of a Scottish warrior! Then you take the spectacular Glenshiel Road to Invermoriston on Loch Ness where Nessie will be waiting for you. The site is perfect for a picnic! You then take the road along the west coast of the Loch to stop and visit Urquhart Castle. You spend the last evening of your Scottish adventure in Inverness. Settling into your accommodation in Inverness.

Transfer to the airport then return flight.
