Then, we’ll go to Killicrankie in the Perthshire region. This idyllic place nestled in a green forest reveals a viaduct worthy of the most beautiful romantic settings. But besides the promise of a bucolic village, Killicrankie was also the scene of a bloody battle, which took place during the Jacobite period. It is an opportunity to discover the geology, fauna and flora of this region of Scotland.

Do you want to reach for the skies? Then today, we’ll head to Schiehallion, one of the best known Munros. Wassat? A munro is a summit in Scotland with an altitude of over 3,000 feet, or 914.4 metres! They are named in honour of Sir Hugh Munro, who created the first comprehensive list in 1891, the Munro’s Tables. This vertiginous triangular-shaped mountain is known all over Scotland. It is an excellent choice for a first Munro: the views are fantastic, and a path makes it easy to access. Then, you set out for a total immersion in beautiful Scottish landscapes. We’ll explore the longest, the most remote and most beautiful of Scotland’s glens, Glen Lyon! On the way, be sure to stop at the Glen Lyon Tea Room, a typical roadside tavern.

Put on your helmet, get on your bikes and lower your head like a racer: today it’s mountain bike day! And we have organized this excursion in a fine place, the charming village of Comrie. Ideally situated in the middle of Glen Lednock and Glen Artney, Comrie is a former winner of the UK’s most beautiful village award… No less! Its geological position on the Highlands Fault has resulted in more earthquakes than anywhere else in the UK.

Walk along the majestic Loch Tay and you will soon find yourself in the Ben Lawers Nature Reserve. This is your trip’s enchanting detour: a magnificent mountain range surrounded by lochs and river lies in store. Can’t wait to put on those hiking boots? Go ahead and measure yourself against these reliefs that call out to you. There’s something for every level! Along the hiking trails, a few points of interest allow you to immerse yourself in these beautiful mountains. Starting with the village of Killin, small isolated shanties west of Loch Tay.
